Photoelectric sensor reflectors for washdown environments

Pepperl+Fuchs has introduced two new models of rectangular reflectors designed to work with photoelectric sensors in food and beverage applications. The H20X40F and H60F reflectors feature IP69K protection to withstand severe high pressure and high temperature washdown, with Ecolab certification for compatibility with common caustic cleaning agents and disinfectants.

The design resists admitting liquid between the reflector and backing, a common cause of deterioration. The new units are both corner-cube reflectors, meaning that they can be used with polarized and non-polarized retro-reflective photoelectric sensors, including P+F’s ML7 sensor series. www.pepperl-fuchs.com
