VisualMEM software has been enhanced to include an OPC (OLE for process control) interface and FOCAS Ethernet communications for GE Fanuc and Fanuc controls. It can now talk to I/O systems, such as Genius, Profibus, Device Net, or other OPC server networks. Data are collected from PLCs, CNCs, and other OPC-enabled equipment. It is available with a front-end operator control station to aid in manual data collection when a PC is not available.

Cut the chatter

ChatterMD is a PC-based software suite for real-time monitoring, diagnosis, analysis, and control of rolling mill vibration and chatter. It simultaneously alarms, isolates, identifies, tracks, trends, and analyzes hundreds of potentially different 3rd and 5th octave mill chatter vibration sources. It is used to optimize mill speed, improve product quality, and reduce scrap. The software operates under Windows 95/98 or Windows NT/2000.
