PLC performs high-speed sequencing, interlocking operations, extends larger control platforms
Honeywell's Master Logic programmable logic controllers bring power and robustness to very high-speed logic, interlock and sequencing applications.
MasterLogic programmable logic controllers (PLCs) bring power and robustness to very high-speed logic, interlock and sequencing applications. The system can be deployed in a stand-alone mode without requiring any human machine interface. It is also an additional controller that can be used with Honeywell’s Experion Process Knowledge System (PKS) architecture and is compatible with Honeywell’s portfolio of process control systems, including Experion LS. As an additional controller tightly integrated to the control system, MasterLogic can help increase operational efficiency by allowing plants to control multiple processes with just one common operator interface. In addition, this seamless integration can reduce engineering configuration time by approximately 25% to 35% over segregated alternatives.
MasterLogic central processing units, power supplies, rack sizes and extensive input/output selection are well suited to a large variety of applications. The solution also reportedly provides maximum reliability with redundant CPUs, power supplies and networks. Additionally, the compact, pocket-size modules reduce cabinet space requirements.
