Courtesy: Spectrum ControlsSpectrum Controls' 2080sc-NTC Thermistor module is designed to provide fully linearized temperature measurements or a wide range of resistance inputs. It is compatible with Allen-Bradley Micro830 and Micro850 controllers and can be configured using existing CCW programming software.

Features such as input type, open-circuit detection, and high- and low-range alarms are individually programmable for each channel. It features 4 channels of thermistor/resistance input, NTC thermistor support, as well as 250 VDC channel-to-chassis ground isolation.

The 2080sc-NTC offers the flexibility to use some of the most common sensors.  All sensor inputs are converted to temperature without any special programming in your ladder logic.  The module also has selectable ADC filter frequencies that allow you to balance between update rate and noise rejection. Universal analog input and high current relay plug-in modules are also available.
