Leesburg, VA —AtlasPMC/2 from Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing delivers video, RGB, and DVI input capability and an extensive range of multimedia features, including dual-head analog or DVI output display, stereo audio I/O, and an on-board USB 2.0 controller. PMC card saves slots and eases integration of multimedia functionality in VME, CompactPCI, and PCI systems.

Based on ATI Technologies’ Radeon Mobility 9000 (M9) mobile graphics processor, the card supports dual 2-D, 3-D, OpenGL, and DirectX compatible displays with up to 16.7 million colors. Microsoft Windows compatible M9 features reduced-power optimizations, integrated video output, and quad-pipeline 2-D/3-D acceleration. Host bus interface uses a 32/64-bit PCI/PCI-X bridge that enables on-board components to operate at top speed unaffected by host side-bus activity.

A wide range of operating system environments is supported on the card, designed for use in a 0-70° C temperature range. Single unit costs $2,500.
