AutomationDirect's NITRA D-series cushioned air cylinders have a 250 psi operating pressure and are constructed with aluminum components and a magnetic piston. Courtesy: AutomationDirectAutomationDirect’s Nitra D-Series cushioned air cylinders ideal for use where abusive conditions exist. These pneumatic air cylinders have a 250 psi operating pressure and are interchangeable with other popular brands. They are available with adjustable cushions to provide end-of-stroke deceleration at both ends.

All D-Series cylinders are constructed with aluminum components and a magnetic piston fitted with a PTFE wear band; all cylinders can be used along with solid state or reed switches for rod position sensing. 

The series includes bore sizes from 1.5-in. to 4 in. and stroke lengths from 1 in. to 24 in. to meet a broad range of applications. Models feature flange, rear clevis and rear pivot, side, and rod clevis mounting options.
