Festo's DSBG line of ISO 15552 large diameter tie rod pneumatic cylinders are available in 160 and 200 mm sizes and are designed for heavy duty applications such as the automotive, mining, and water treatment industries. Courtesy: FestoFesto's DSBG line of ISO 15552 large diameter tie rod pneumatic cylinders are available in 160 and 200 mm sizes and delivers 2,700 and 4,200 pounds of force, respectively. The DSBG-160/200 cylinders are designed for heavy duty applications such as metal presses and barrel pumps in the auto industry, pinch valves in the mining industry, and opening gates/flaps in the water treatment industry. DSBG cylinders feature an elastomer bumper or an adjustable air cushion for noise reduction. The air cushion allows for higher energy absorption and its load bearing capacity is designed to improve protection against overpressure for easier handling and operating efficiency. The cylinders can operate in harsh conditions of up to 150 C. It also has stud bolts for vertical or horizontal mounting that are useful in demanding environments such as mining and water and wastewater.
