Harting’s Han HPR heavy duty power connector lineup includes UHF RFID-equipped housings that allows users to track data. Gathering data via RFID is designed to help users gather data like part numbers for requisition or maintenance issues more quickly. The Han HPR RFID comes in sizes 6B, 10B, 16B and 24B. The integrated transponder has a read range of one meter and enjoys the same IP68/69K protection as the locked Han HPR housing. Han HPR connectors are designed for external electrical interconnections in railway rolling stock and other vehicles, in demanding environments and wet areas or where sensitive interconnections have to be shielded. The Han HPR is designed to be impermeable to moisture, humidity, dust and dirt throughout the connector’s useful life. This is achieved using materials and seals that are UV and ozone resistant and function within a temperature range of -40 C to +125 C.
