Littelfuse Up-LINK
Littelfuse touts its Up-Link fuseholder as the next generation of plant maintenance technology. It offers remote notification via PLC and connection to portable devices (such as PDAs) to allow all technical information to be provided upfront, reducing unnecessary trips around the plant. It ties into existing programming language and uses simple logic diagrams to take plant maintenance to the next level. Up-Link can drastically reduce plant downtime without fundamentally changing the role of the maintenance technician. It provides information (such as what kind of fuse, what level of PPE) before a technician is dispatched, reducing the amount of time spent on each job. Up-Link value will not only be measured efficiency, but also by the streamlined troubleshooting, enhanced safety, and powerful bottom line savings is brings to plants. www.littelfuse.com
