HIPpak power solid-state relays come in four models with a variety of easy and quick connections and are said to be smaller and lighter than similar standard relays. For power wiring, they offer direct connection by wire or tips. For control wiring, they offer screw connections up to 50 mm2, or removable spring terminals. Relays are called an alternative to conventional hockey-puck packaging, feature removable touch-proof flaps, allow use of the same screwdriver for outputs and inputs, and provide for tightening on a metal baseplate instead of plastic.
