Makers of integrated circuits offer guidance and tools so device manufacturers can upgrade designs, avoiding power vampires that drain power from a line or facility, and making upgrades and system integration easier. Is it time to upgrade your device's power-management design?
For example, Analog Devices, offers a dc-dc power management design tool called ADIsimPower , which allows users to:

- build your design.
Texas Instruments power management IC solutions include standard ICs to high performance plug-in, power brick, digital power, MOSFETs and integrated power modules.
