An automation guide for municipal and industrial professionals in the water and wastewater treatment industries is available free from GE Fanuc Automation Americas Inc ., a unit of GE Infrastructure. Advanced Solutions for Water, Wastewater encompasses a range of topics, including in-plant processing, information management and reporting, utility management, and microfiltration.

The guide, more than 1,000 pages, contains white papers, case studies, and specification guidelines. It documents design and description of water-based applications such as RTU-based collection and distribution; advanced technologies including high-performance historians and Web portals; and the design decision-making process.
