New Baldor Dirty Duty NEMA 4X VS1 SP and VS1 GV ac drives provide performance and enclosure integrity for demanding applications in tough environments, the company says.

Utilizing Baldor’s popular H2 inverter and vector technologies, the drives are designed to perform in the most challenging applications. The VS1 SP models are configured for open-loop/sensorless vector applications, and the VS1 GV models are designed for the more demanding closed-loop vector applications. Both models use a robust NEMA 4X enclosure that can handle dusty/dirty environments and high pressure washdown applications.

Dirty Duty drives are rated IP66 and can withstand up to 1,000 psi. Both drives are simple to program and easy to operate. A user-friendly keypad with up and down keys along with left and right arrows allow for effortless navigation and parameter changes. Multiple English-text status screen are easy to read on the full graphics backlit display. Optional external keypad may be remote mounted up to 200 feet from the drive. The drives offer USB standard interface for Mint WorkBench tools and have multiple communication and expansion option boards.
