Milwaukee, Wis.— Rockwell Automation has announced the availability of the Rockwell Software RSPocketLogix—Microsoft Windows CE based software that, when running on a handheld personal computer, delivers a compact, portable, easy-to-use solution for factory floor maintenance and troubleshooting. It is designed for Allen-Bradley SLC 500 programmable controllers, and has a familiar look and feel, and can be tailored to a specific control application. RSPocketLogix gives users a single display program for multiple controllers, allows the controller engines to be independent or coexist, and offers the option to add or remove controllers as needed.
