Push buttons reduce maintenance, downtime costs

Rockwell Automation's Allen-Bradley 800B 16 mm Push Buttons feature LED pilot lights to indicate when a motor is in operation, reducing maintenance and downtime costs.

The Allen-Bradley 800B 16 mm Push Buttons help reduce maintenance and associated downtime costs with LED pilot lights that can indicate if a motor is in operation and trigger-action emergency-stop (E-stop) devices that cease motion. The E-stop Push Button features a trigger-action anti-tease to help ensure the E-stop command will disengage equipment, helping to improve worker safety.

The new line reportedly provides reliability by meeting global standards, including UL, CSA, CE and CCC. The entire family is constructed of durable corrosion-resistant plastic materials that provide great dependability in sealing (IP65/66) and help to extend the over all product life. For improved visibility and comfort, the 800B devices offer bright, consistent illumination with an ergonomic concave shape.

Users with light industrial applications can now benefit from Allen-Bradley industry leading knowledge of the industrial Push Button market. Integrated Architecture users benefit from the low-voltage, gold-plated contact blocks and LEDs with leakage current shunt. Both help improve I/O signal quality and operation uptime. The new 800B product line takes many of the features of Allen-Bradley 22.5 mm and 30 mm Push Button families and puts them in a 16 mm size design.
