Control Microsystems announced TelePACE Studio, a redesigned programming environment for its SCADAPack controllers. The software adds additional functionality to the product's predecessor, TelePACE 3.x. A customizable workspace allows for program information and controller settings to be placed in any combination on the workspace canvas in viewing panes. The size and layout of these views can be personally tailored, allowing the user to control the look of the application. Ladder logic editing is more efficient with new drag-and-drop logic elements and single-click access to element configuration. To prevent addressing conflicts, automatic suggestion of unused Modbus addresses is provided for element configuration blocks. In addition, an unlimited Undo and Redo feature conveniently saves editing history, encouraging confidence when editing. On-line editing now maintains a list of changes in memory, which are written to the controller only when initiated by the user. www.controlmicrosystems.com
