Electro Industries/GaugeTech's (EIG) ANT18769 is a remote, mounted wireless (WiFi) antenna that features a magnetic base and mounting for better line of site reception. Courtesy: EIGElectro Industries/GaugeTech's (EIG) ANT18769 is a remote, mounted wireless (WiFi) antenna to extend the range of its Shark 100S/Shark 200S submeters with WiFi, and its MP200 high-density multi-circuit metering system with the WiFi option.  The WiFi antenna has a magnetic base for easy installation and comes with a 2000mm coaxial cable for remote connection.

The remote antenna's benefits to the WiFi meters' include:

  • Mounting for better line of site reception 
  • Ability to mount the WiFi meters in an enclosure but still take advantage of radio-based communication 
  • Bringing the antenna closer to a window to get out of a basement installation 

The remote antenna further enhances the capabilities of the EIG meters with WiFi communication.
