Mettler Toledo’s InTrac 781/784 series of retractable sensor housings are designed to tolerate extreme process conditions such as chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper and utilities applications. It features an intelligent locking system designed to ensure operating safety at all times. Without the presence of a sensor the housing’s insertion rod cannot be deployed into the process. The locking system makes it possible to remove the probe only when the insertion rod is fully retracted. This avoids any unintended sensor removal while measuring. The InTrac781 and 784 housings also allow sensor maintenance and exchange without any interruption to the running process. They also feature four spray nozzles for thorough cleaning and the large chamber bore size means dirt and particles are flushed out. Various immersion lengths and type of process connection are also available, giving excellent flexibility at the measurement point and minimizing re-engineering.
