RIA publishes guide to robot system integrators

Another resource for finding integrators is the Control Engineering 2004 Automation Integrator Guide (registration required), which contains more than 230 automation system integrators listing a "robotics" specialty. This list can be narrowed by specifying other parameters in a user’s individual search.

The Robotic Industries Association (RIA) has published a guide about robot systems integrators, which is now available at RIA’s Robotics Online Website . This new online resource includes an alphabetical listing of more than 45 of RIA’s system integrator members, including detailed company profiles and contact information. The guide’s integrator section is can be found in a "fly out menu" from the "link" button, which is located on the left side of the Robotics Online Website.

"The RIA Membership Committee requested a new online section that allows you to quickly find robot systems integrators," explains Brian Huse, RIA’s marketing and public relations director. The association adds that its online reference guide is an extension of RIA's in-print Robotics Industry Directory, which now has a section called "Users Guide to Robot Systems Integrators." Broken down by application type, this users guide is also available as a Web-enabled .pdf document on RIA's new CD-ROM, "The Robot Files." The directory and CD are free upon request to qualified individuals.
