Rockwell Automation: 11th RSTechED User Conference, June 1-6

Rockwell Automation will host its 11th annual RSTechED for users, system integrators, partners, and original equipment manufacturers, June 1 to 6. “Do More, Go Faster” is the theme. The meeting is expected to improve software productivity for manufacturers from consumer packaged goods, automotive, oil and gas, and life sciences industries.

will host its 11th annual RSTechED , an international meeting of users, system integrators, partners, and original equipment manufacturers, June 1 to 6 at Rosen Shingle Creek hotel in Orlando, FL. “Do More, Go Faster” is the theme of the meeting, which will feature executive speakers, technical sessions, hands-on labs, special interest group discussions, and customer panels. Participants include manufacturers from consumer packaged goods, automotive, oil and gas, and life sciences industries.
Noted futurist and author of six global best sellers Alvin Toffler will be the keynote speaker, said to be among top advisors to management and governments, including the former Soviet Union’s Mikhail Gorbachev, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the Chinese government.
More than 20 guest panelists will participate in session categories including Design and Configuration; Production Management, Data Management, Asset Management, Performance & Visibility, FactoryTalk Services Platform, Control & Components, plus general sessions and special interest groups. Panelists include customers from 3M, Alcan, American Axle & Manufacturing, AM General, Blandin Paper, Bobcat Gas Storage, Chrysler, DuPont, Fosters, Eli Lilly, Johnson Controls, Kimberly Clark, KLA-Tencor, Lilly del Caribe Inc., Metalsa Commercial Vehicles, Rockline Industries, Smithfield Foods, Stone Technologies, Stryker Biotech Inc., and Tyson Foods.
“Today’s manufacturers are striving to achieve maximum productivity and quality at minimum costs to remain competitive in the global economy,” said Kevin Roach, vice president of software, Rockwell Automation. “Effective coordination in the factory coupled with better information sharing will become a key requirement for innovation, and likely, survival. RSTechED gives attendees the education and tools to achieve a truly integrated enterprise, as well as insight into best practices that lead to higher productivity and a competitive advantage.”
With more than 300 sessions, the goal of RSTechED is to provide attendees the opportunity to explore Rockwell Software solutions from beginner level overviews to in-depth, advanced hands-on labs, while networking with peers in the industry, says Rockwell Automation.
