Rockwell Automation Inc. has announced that it will close its plant in Eau Claire, WI, within the next eight months. The closing will eliminate 115 jobs. The facility had been in operation since 1993.

The company plans to relocate manufacturing of its small logic controllers (SLCs), PanelView human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other small molded plastic products made at the Eau Claire plant to other Rockwell facilities in North America. This production may move to plants in New Hampshire or Ohio.
