Rockwell Automation to acquire Pavilion Technologies

In an effort to reinforce its hybrid and process industries offerings, Rockwell Automation has agreed to buy Pavilion Technologies.

Rockwell Automation Inc. announced it has agreed to buy Austin, TX-based Pavilion Technologies Inc. Pavilion is a privately-held company that provides advanced process control, production optimization and environmental compliance solutions to customers in consumer products, oil and gas, chemicals and other process and hybrid industries.
The Pavilion Technologies management team and employees will become part of Rockwell Automation’s Architecture & Software segment. Pavilion Technologies software products will be integrated into the Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk integrated production and performance suite, as well as the Logix Control Platform.
