Cedar Falls, IA – In applications with fluctuating pressure or fluid viscosity, the company’s positive displacement (DP) pumps provide an alternative to centrifugal pumps, supplying near-constant flow rate with minimal efficiency change. PD pumps also handle a wider viscosity range, namely 28 to 2 million SSU (1-444,000 cSt). Internal gear pumps are available for 1.5-1,500 gpm (0.3-340 m3/hr) capacities at pressures to 250 psi (17 bar). Special seal-less gear pumps eliminate shaft leakage in hazardous fluids and zero-emission applications. Rotary lobe pumps for lower shear/higher pressure usage with cleanability or periodic dry-running requirements offer capacities to 820 gpm at up to 400 psi.
