Watlow, a designer and manufacturer of electric heaters, controllers and temperature sensors, now offers a line of rugged, graphic, touchscreen operator interface terminals (OITs). These are designed for equipment manufactures and end users who want to provide an integrated and customized interface for their equipment, and can be easily paired with Watlow controllers.

Two models (7 in. and 10 in. diagonal display sizes) support a full set of features including serial and Ethernet communications with multiple controllers, more than 30 drivers for communicating with Watlow and third-party devices, USB, SD Card, data logging, flexible password security, and multi-language support.

The Silver Series programming software, EasyBuilder5000, includes a large variety of built-in screen objects, and users can create libraries of their own objects for repeat use. It comes with an online simulator and the Ethernet port makes testing and downloading fast.
