Courtesy: ABBABB's Orion safety light curtains are available in three models, each with a different light curtain or light grid configuration. These options, along with the choice of base and extended versions, provide a range with the flexibility to meet the needs of any application. Orion safety light curtain base models offer active optoelectronic protective device object detection and a local reset button connected directly to the light curtain, which eliminates the need for a cable connection to the electrical cabinet or an extra control module. The extended model of the Orion safety light curtain offers a muting feature, which enables material, including pallets, to pass through the curtain without stopping the machine, while still preventing personnel from entering the hazardous area. Orion safety light guards are available in Orion 1, finger- and hand-detection, models and in Orion 2, two-, three- or four-beam, models, and Orion 3, transceiver light-grid models which reduce wiring.
