Semaphore has introduced a resistance temperature detector (RTD) interface for its T-Box line of SCADA system products. The MS-6RTD interface module is compatible with a T-Box MS modular system and accommodates a range of two-wire and three-wire RTD temperature sensors. Direct connection of RTDs to T-Box MS simplifies installation and is cost-effective for processes using multiple temperature measurements. Used with one or more MS-6RTD modules, T-Box MS is suitable to applications in energy management, infrastructure management, power generation, and utilities. It performs alarm management and data logging and uses push technology to keep multiple recipients informed on the status of assets. The IP-based telemetry solution enables integration of SCADA, control, and communications functionality in one package. It leverages Web technologies and public networks for decentralized monitoring and control systems. www.cse-semaphore.com Semaphore
