Scaleless linear motor with built-in linear encoder
Nippon Pulse's SL083 is a scaleless linear motor with a built-in linear encoder and is composed of two parts—a tubular stainless steel shaft and a non-contact forcer—for simple installation and configuration.
Nippon Pulse's SL083 is a scaleless linear motor with a built-in linear encoder. It is designed for positioning applications and has 5µm in resolution and repeat accuracy. The SL083 is a compact motor composed of two parts—a tubular stainless steel shaft and a non-contact forcer—for simple installation and configuration. The motor requires no lubrication and has a non-critical air gap means there is no variation in the force. The housing is made of non-magnetic aluminum. The SL083 is designed to simplify the integration of a linear motor into applications and utilize existing bearings to become an actuator. The SL083 linear motor also has a built-in interpolator and hall sensors and features real-time single processing and high dynamics with no residual force.
