Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, has acquired the assets and daily operations of Pace Integrated Systems Inc., formerly an authorized partner that delivers building management and security solutions to end-user customers. Pace is now the Southern California Branch organization of the Buildings Business Americas of Schneider Electric.

Since 1997, Pace has been providing quality products, applications and installations with expert project management focused on meeting customer objectives. Pace employees have extensive technical expertise in building management systems, digital video and IT networks, security, and integrated solutions, all delivered to a diverse customer base, from sales and installation to service and training.

“At Schneider Electric, we’re focused on providing complete, end-to-end solutions for all of our customers’ energy needs,” said Jim Sandelin, Senior Vice President, Buildings Business Americas of Schneider Electric. “With the acquisition of Pace, we can reach a new customer base, offering them a full range of building and energy management solutions.”

“Given our long history and successful partnership with Schneider Electric, I am extremely excited to take this next step in becoming an integral part of the company,” said Orlando F. Perez, formerly president of Pace, who has joined Schneider Electric in the role of branch manager. “This transaction is about extending and improving our service and product offerings to our customers, which will allow them to take full advantage of Schneider Electric’s portfolio of solutions and industry-leading expertise.”

Sandelin added: “We look forward to offering our new branch employees the opportunity to be part of the fastest growing and most profitable energy management company in the world. As a member of the Schneider Electric team, they will have new opportunities to grow their careers and gain critical technical, professional and managerial expertise.”
