Schneider Electric has launched its new TopIntegrator program for system integrators. Designed to support integrators working with Schneider nationwide, TopIntegrator gives its members access to a variety of tools, including a dedicated web site at www.squared-si.com ; free product samples; training modules; and codes and standards support.

TopIntegrator will give system integrators the freedom to affiliate with brands that offer them value and performance without tying them down to one product line, according to Edwin Newell, Schneider’s system integrator segment manager.

”Integrators are often forced by vendors to declare a specialty, which limits their opportunities for business,” says Newell. ”Our goal is to open windows of opportunity, not tie the hands of our system integrators.”

There are also situations in which integrators find themselves competing against a manufacturer’s in-house team of system integrators. ”However, Schneider Electric isn’t interested in competing with the system integrators who work with us,” adds Newell. ”Instead, we’re interested in finding ways to make them stronger along with protecting the system integrator’s position in the value chain to the end-users.”
