The absolute LC 195M and LC 495M sealed linear encoders from Heidenhain can be used on machines that require a Mitsubishi interface. and features a transmission speed of up to 5 MHz. Courtesy: HeidenhainThe absolute LC 195M and LC 495M sealed linear encoders from Heidenhain are now available for use on machines that require a Mitsubishi interface. The LC 195M/495M focus on the requirements for purely-serial absolute systems for Mitsubishi drive components. The transmission speed of the Mitsubishi interface has increased from 2.5 MHz to 5 MHz. Two successive pairs of sealing lips on the LC 195M provide an extra layer of protection against contamination of the DIADUR graduation, which is responsible for the positioning accuracy. The resolution of the LC 195M and the LC 495M with an accuracy grade of 3 µm is 1 nm.
