NK Technologies’ CT-MS is a 5A secondary current transformer with a split-core design and a 2.22 x 1.19-in. sensing window. It is designed for installation over large wires or bus bars and measures ac current and produces a 0 to 5 amp output proportional to the current flowing through the sensing window. It measures current from 0 to 150 to 0 to 800 amps and has plated terminals. It also meets ANSI/IEEE C57.13 and IEEE C57.13.2 standards. It is designed to saves space in control panels by remotely locating the sensing of the current closer to the load and the current transformer secondary can be connected to produce a loop-powered, 4 to 20 mA signal proportional to the current.
