Open industrial networks and operating systems have manufacturers assessing the risks associated with unauthorized access to factory automation control-systems. Integrating RSAssetSecurity, from Rockwell Software , can deliver centralized authentication and access control by verifying the identity of each user accessing critical systems and granting or denying each user’s request to perform specific actions, Rockwell Automation says.
