SEL expands again with new headquarters

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Inc. (SEL), a provider of protection, automation, and control equipment for electric power systems, is building a new five-story, 90,000 sq ft headquarters in Pullman, WA, near existing facilities.

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Inc . (SEL), a provider of protection, automation, and control equipment for electric power systems, is building a new five-story, 90,000 sq ft headquarters in Pullman, WA, near existing facilities. Anticipated opening is October 2006.

SEL founder and president Ed Schweitzer says, “All parts of SEL are growing, and this new facility will not only give us the space we need, but also become our new front door.” SEL recently completed a 22,000 sq ft building to add to its extensive research and development facilities in Pullman, along with a 10,800 sq ft facilities maintenance building. SEL, founded in Pullman in 1982, employs about 1,200 people in more than 50 locations globally to sell products in 110 countries.
