Selective coordination in elevators

Selective coordination in elevators is required when more than one elevator is supplied by a common feeder.

Figure 2 shows an example of a coordination study illustrating the feeder breaker overcurrent protection, the elevator fuse overcurrent protection, and the elevator motor start-up curves.
