Z-Gard DS sensors detect the presence of carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide gases in a variety of applications, including vehicle storage areas. Device features electromechanical sensors and comes with two output options: addressable RS-485 digital-signal or separate 4-20 mA analog outputs. The former is specifically intended to operate as a system with any Z-Gard C 485 controller. The latter can be installed as a stand-alone sensor, typically integrated with Z-Gard C controller or common commercial equipment including PLC, DCS, or building automation sys-tems. It has a plastic NEMA 4X enclosure and separate field-replaceable sensors for CO and NO 2 . www.msagasdetection.com MSA Instrument Div.
