Rosemont, IL— DVT Corp. (Duluth, GA) announced two labeling agreements at Sensors Expo and International Robots & Vision Show on June 3. DVT will private label its Legend family of vision products for integration into Yamaha Robotics’ line of industrial robots. The vision systems will be marketed as “YamaVision,” and will be available with Yamaha’s controllers and robots.

“The integration of DVT vision products and Yamaha robots will provide a real value to integrators and end-users, increasing functionality and reducing setup time,” says Brad Steinke, DVT’s director of OEM business development.

DVT also reaffirmed its agreement with the Automation & Drives Group of Siemens AG to brand-label machine vision systems. DVT will supply brand-labeled versions of its Legend family of SmartImage Sensors and FrameWork software. The company also hopes to offer a brand-labeled version of the Siemens VS100 series of vision systems through its global network of automation solution providers. VS100 is specially designed for image processing tasks for specific applications, such as optical form inspection of small parts.

“The Legend family of products will provide a wide range of solutions to Siemens customers, including CMOS and CCD-based systems; gray scale, color, high resolution, and high-speed units,” adds Bob Steinke, DVT’s chairman and CEO.
