Servo and stepper drive family

Rohnert Park, Calif.—The Gemini family of digital servo and stepper drives combines brushless servo and microstepping technologies into one platform. Initial release includes nine power levels and two control levels. Included features are simplified tuning and digital notch filters in digital servo drives along with ABS damping and en-coderless stall detect in stepper drives.

Rohnert Park, Calif. —The Gemini family of digital servo and stepper drives combines brushless servo and microstepping technologies into one platform. Initial release includes nine power levels and two control levels. Included features are simplified tuning and digital notch filters in digital servo drives along with ABS damping and en-coderless stall detect in stepper drives. Each member includes optional 24 V dc keep alive, error log, and is configurable with RS-232/ 485 via Compumotor's "Motion Planner" on a PC or "Pocket Motion Planner" on a Window CE-based palm PC. Servo drives allow input power of 120 or 240 V ac single phase or 240 V ac 3-phase for up to 5,800 W continuous output power. Stepper drives have single-phase 120 or 240 V ac input with up to 1,350 W continuous output.
