AMP-20542 low-inductance servo motor option for Galil’s DMC-21×3 Series of Ethernet motion controllers directly attaches to the controller’s 96-pin connector, eliminating the need for cabling. It contains four transconductance, PWM amplifiers for driving small, low-inductance brush or brushless servo motors. Each amplifier operates at 18-60 V dc at up to 3.3 A continuous, 5 A peak. Drive for each axis is software configurable to operate in a chopper or inverter mode. Board guards against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, shortcircuit, and over-temperature.
