Sick BCG EcoLine wire draw encoders, analog output, for distance measurement applications

Sick, manufacturer of sensors, safety systems, machine vision, and automatic identification products for factory and logistics automation, launched the Sick BCG EcoLine wire draw encoders. The BCG is an economical distance measurement solution with a scalable analog output (4-20 mA or 0-10 V) that easily interfaces with control systems, the company says. It includes a variety of easy-to-use features, including a pushbutton teach that allows users to configure the unit for different lengths - simplifying setup and saving time, according to the company.

This BCG is enclosed in a thin, compact housing, making it ideal for applications with limited installation space. The BCG offers two versions of standalone MRA-F Wire Draw Mechanisms that, when combined with SICK's existing encoder portfolio, give users advanced customization capabilities.

Plus, its precise measurements are ideal for a variety of markets, including mobile vehicle, automotive, medical, ASRS and general manufacturing.
