Courtesy: Pepperl+FuchsPepperl+Fuchs' SC series of signal conditioners are designed for non-hazardous areas that are extremely compact such as cabinets or in narrow spaces between cable ducts. The main function of a signal conditioner is to prevent hazardous voltage from reaching the control side. The SC series provides safe isolation with a 3 kV test voltage and a 300 V working voltage to optimize worker safety and equipment protection. and has an extended temperature range of -25 and 70 C. The SC System is designed to withstand high levels of vibration when placed near operational equipment, such as piston engines or breakers. They can be used with a power bus and DIN mounting rails. As an alternative to supplying power through terminals, a power bus allows a central power supply without the need for individual wiring.
