Courtesy: YokogawaYokogawa has enhanced its YS1000 series single loop controllers. The controllers feature a new TFT LCD with improved display characteristics and a design that facilitates easy maintenance. The TFT LCD screen has a wider viewing angle as well as improved display contrast and brightness, which makes the screen easier to read. In addition, the TFT LCD has a longer lifespan and does not need to be replaced as frequently. The LCD screen can also be replaced while the controller is online without interrupting the output of signals to control elements. The controllers are designed for demanding production sites like oil refining, pulp and paper and pharmaceuticals.
