WEG Electric's CFW100 mini drive comes in a small package. Courtesy: WEG ElectricWEG Electric's CFW100 mini-drive is a small VFD with HMI capability. It handles 150% overload for 60 seconds at 50 C ambient temperature rating. CFW100 has power ranges of 1/4 hp, 1/3 hp, 3/4 hp and 1 hp at 230 V ac with single-phase in and 1.5 A, 2.6 A and 4.2 A three-phase output current.

CFW100 comes with built-in HMI, DIN rail mounting, detachable fan, plug-in modules, and I/O options. CFW programming is completed with the built-in keypad that monitors two different parameters at the same time along with operation status, alarms, and faults. A remote keypad CFW100-HMIR connected through a USB cable or remote serial connection for longer distances is available. The CFW100 works with WEG's Superdrive G2 programming control software.

CFW100 has a flash memory module with the capacity for over 5000 operations. The module saves drive parameters and the PLC code directly from the soft PLC feature. The CFW100 can interface using a USB connection, Bluetooth or infrared wireless.
