The compact soft starters offer keypads with LED displays, four programmable isolated inputs, programmable relay outputs; they accept 500% of full load current for intermittent periods. Also, according to the company, microprocessor control allows for easy adjustment through the remote keypad during startup and run-time. Soft starters have built-in control features such as pump control, independently adjustable ramps for acceleration and deceleration, kick start, power supply phase loss, motor phase loss, soft starter overtemperature, and external fault protection.
