WinCon 5.0 software for Microsoft Windows-based control applications is suited for rapid control prototyping (RCP) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing. Software runs The MathWorks Simulink models in hard real time and allows for fast implementation of real-time code generated automatically via Real-Time Workshop. New version improves compatibility, commu-nications, and performance. Features include: new communications abilities, including real-time TCP/IP, extended device support, and haptics support for such devices as the company’s 3-DOF planar pantograph and 5-DOF haptic wand.
