Software integrates logic, motion control in IEC 61131-3

Fond Du Lac, Wis. -Giddings & Lewis Controls Measurement and Sensing has released PiCPro for Windows version 11.0. In addition to being the 10th release with upward compatibility, the software integrates logic and motion control programming within the IEC 61131-3 standard. New features include an integrated project manager, online development of user help messages, programming over Internet, and SERCOS motion control for high-speed applications. Online editing of motion and logic, and ability to access, program, and troubleshoot via Internet are provided. PiCPro is for developing and maintaining G&L PiC (Programmable industrial Control) and MMC (Machine & Motion Control) family of industrial motion controls.
