Solar tracking motors
The Gen 4 Solar Tracking Motors (STM) by Dunkermotoren features integrated electronics and inclinometer options and can interface directly with the main power plant tracking controller.
Dunkermotoren's Gen 4 Solar Tracking Motors (STM) include All-in-One brushless DC motors with optional onboard inclinometer and optional direct inclinometer input.
The STM All-in-One brushless DC motors feature integrated power and controls electronics, fieldbus communication, with planetary, worm or Wormetary gearing options. The motors can be mounted conveniently onto various slewing gear and linear actuator options provided by select third-party partners.
STM tracking motors are networked in groups of up to 65,535 tracking axis and interface directly with the main power plant tracking controller, eliminating the need for and costs associated with many components currently found on traditional tracking systems.
Dunkermotoren’s STM tracking motion solutions allow solar tracker manufacturers to achieve lower total system costs, while increasing reliability and reducing down time.
