Source code for industrial PID control algorithm
Hubertus, Wis. -ExperTune has made available the source code for an industrial PID control algorithm. The ExperTune algorithm incorporates industrially hardened technology similar to that used within the major DCS systems. The algorithm has robust anti-reset-windup, solid initialization, bumpless transfer, and full alarming and over-ranging. A PV filter is automatically applied to the deriviative action to reduce controller output jitteriness. Separate C, C++, OCX code modules are included. Modules can be used in embedded microcontrollers, NT, Unix-based systems, and Windows 2000-based systems. Users have a royalty-free license for redistributing the object code within their system.
