Standalone Ethernet hub extends segments up to 200m

B&R Industrial Automation offers a standalone Ethernet hub system that is part of the X20 slice I/O series. The modular, expandable design of the active hub allows it to be used as a 4x or 6x hub. Even the smallest version is a beneficial solution as a 2x hub for extending Ethernet sections up to 200 m.

Besides standard Ethernet, the modular hub system can be expanded with an X20 bus controller module with an integrated 2x hub for Ethernet Powerlink. This allows remote I/O to be connected directly to the hub in a star, tree, or line configuration. The real-time capability is adapted to meet the requirements of machine design. www.br-automation.com B&R Industrial Automation Corp.
