Boston Rack International, Inc., an integrator of material handling equipment solutions based in North Easton, MA, is joining forces with storage solutions company Base Manufacturing, Monroe, GA, to become a full-service integrator and warehouse storage solutions manufacturer.
“By merging with Base Manufacturing, we will be able to join forces and provide our customers the quality, efficiency, and depth of products that our competitors are not able to offer,” Peter Murphy, founder, president and CEO of Boston Rack International, said.
The merger comes following months of collaboration between the two companies. It provides both companies with a larger sales force and network of resources, and a greater reach into the warehouse material handling industry.
“Timing was very important to us, due to both our strengths exhibited in a declining market”, Base president and CEO Steve South said. “We felt the new combination would offer the industry a value that exceeds all others.”
Following the merger, the two companies will operate as subsidiaries of holding company Elite Storage Solutions, allowing each to continue taking advantage of brand identities within their marketplaces.
