Model AST4500 and AST4510 media isolated submersible pressure sensors from American Sensor Technologies Inc. are intended for areas requiring intrinsically safe equipment, when used with an approved entity barrier. Made of stainless steel, the sensors are approved to UL/cUL 913 (CSA) Class 1 Div. 1, Groups C and D and hold CE approval of EN 61326. Both are suitable for submersible and level measurement applications, have a weighted front-end nose cone, and are designed to survive in harsh environments. AST4500 series provides pressure ranges from 0-20 and 0-100 psig and an 0.88-in. dia. AST4510 series offers pressure ranges of 0-5, 0-7.5, 0-10, and 0-15 psig and a 1-in. dia.
